Directed C-H Arylation of Substituted Pyrimidines

The aryl-extension, by means of N-directed photochemical C-H arylation, was investigated on a family of substituted
pyrimidines, generated via combination of Biginelli and Suzuki reactions. This method may be useful for C-H functionalization of bioactives and generation of new small-molecule libraries that further explore 3D chemical space.
